Sneak Peak: Preview of ‘The Fears We Share’

Fear of the Dentist

Let me tell you my fear

It’s silly, but the truth

It’s the dreaded dentist

Trapping me in his booth

Strapped to his chair

With the drill to my tooth

The feeling I don’t want to remember

But can’t quite forget

The white sterile office

With smiles veiling a threat

Drill bits and needles

Blinding lights can frett

Echoes of buzzing in my mouth

Louder than a jet

I was still but a child

And “doctor” was dead-set

Yes my greatest fear

Ever since my youth

Is the demon & his drill

Burrowing into my tooth
